Awakshidar - Dark-ambient / void-punk project from te-whanganui-a-tara, Aotearoa, New Zealand.
'Lux Eoi' is inspired by electroacoustic music, ambient noise, and shoegaze a la Loveliescrushing. Analogue synth-based dark ambient album themed around religion, heresy, and chronic illness, using the imagery of Anglican hymnals to evoke notes of transition, conflict, and metamorphosis. Composed from June 2023 to January 2024.
